FILM WORK
To date, Dan has been credited in 25 films and has 16 years experience in the field of Visual Effects. He also has 2 years experience in game. Here are a few production examples he is most proud work.
Jungle Cruise
Industrial Light & Magic was tasked by Jungle Cruise director Jaume Collet-Serra to craft the film’s four cursed conquistadors—Spanish explorers rendered immortal but ‘made up’ of elements of the jungle.
I was involved with helping with the creation of the Mud conquistador. This involved sculpting the aged and damaged body armor.
I was also tasked to work on the Rock's head and body and integrate it into our pipeline. I was also involved in shot modeling final shots which included the final Vine Wall scene.
The IrishMan
I was very proud to be a part of the ground breaking Visual Effects Team at Industrial Light & Magic. Under the watchful eye of production visual effects supervisor Pablo Helman, the visual effects team created 1,750 visual effects shots for Martin Scorsese’s epic three-and-a-half-hour drama, The Irishman. The film received both Oscar and BAFTA nominations for Best Visual Effects and won two Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards including Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Feature and Outstanding Compositing in a Feature.
I was involved in helping the final facial performance during the shot modeling phase. This involved shot sculpting on top of facial animation to take it to a finished level.
Aladdin
I was part of the Visual Effects team at Industrial Light & Magic that helped bring this story to life. I helped model various assets such as Aladdin, Iago the parrot, and The Cave of Wonder.
Modeling Aladdin involved sculpting his face based off of ICT data and creating a set of FAC based shapes for his facial rig. I was also responsible for creating his street clothes outfit as well.
I also was given the opportunity to model and create face shapes for Iago the parrot. The final look involved working closely with the hair team to achieve the final feathered look.
Black Panther
Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture.
As part of the Industrial Light & Magic team my tasks on this show included modeling the Rhino along with creating face shapes for him. I was also responsible for modeling the panther.
A selfish Prince is cursed to become a monster for the rest of his life, unless he learns to fall in love with a beautiful young woman he keeps prisoner.
I was Model Lead at Digital Domain on Beauty and the Beast. I helped with the creation of the Beast head and body. I was responsible for creating the head topology and sculpting fine details. Sculpted various costumes. Lead Responsibilities included managing a team to create various creatures, costumes, and props.

Fast and the Furious 7
Furious 7, is a 2015 American action film directed by James Wan and written by Chris Morgan.
I contributed to the project at Digital Domain as the Model Lead . Tasks involved working on the creation of Brian's Wrx vehicle. This was used as a full cg replacement during the car drop from the airplane. I was also tasked to create a photo realistic head of Shaw (Jason Statham) which was used for a full cg head replacement. Other Lead Responsibilities included managing a team to create various vehicles and digital double characters.
Maleficent
Maleficent is a 2014 American dark fantasy adventure film directed by Robert Stromberg from a screenplay by Linda Woolverton.
I contributed to the project at Digital Domain as a Digital Modeler. My tasks included creating a digital asset of Maleficent's Wings. I also helped with corrective shapes and shot modeling on the fairies which where full cg.

Avatar (marketed as James Cameron's Avatar) is a 2009 American epic science fiction film directed, written, produced, and co-edited by James Cameron
I contributed to the project at Weta Digital as a Digital Modeler. My tasks included helping with the muscle systems of various Avatars. I also helped on various costumes and accessories.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a 2011 American science fiction action thriller film directed by Rupert Wyatt.
I contributed to the project at Weta Digital as a Digital Modeler. My tasks included helping with the creation of the digital apes along side of various props.
The Mummy
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor[2] is a 2008 American action-adventure fantasy film, directed by Rob Cohen.
I contributed to the project at Digital Domain as a Digital Modeler. My tasks included with the creation of undead mummy army, the Terracotta army, and helping on the Emperor assets.
Power Rangers
Power Rangers is an American entertainment and merchandising franchise built around a live-action superhero television series, based on the Japanese tokusatsu franchise Super Sentai.
I contributed to the project at Digital Domain as a Digital Modeler. My tasks included with the creation of the Putty Patroller and various army assets.
Night at the Museum
Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb is a 2014 American fantasy comedy film directed by Shawn Levy and written by David Guion and Michael Handelman. It is the third and final installment in the original Night at the Museum film series.
I helped with the creation of various assets including statue creatures.
